Yuki has now lived 274 days on Earth which is the exact same number of days she spent in the womb. I don't know if that counts for anything but I think it should. Of course, if I include the two days she lived in a petri dish then I should have posted this on Saturday. Whatever. Happy Nine Months, kiddo.

It has been brought to my attention that the photo above is not actually my daughter. See below for re-establishment of pecking order.

The first photo FREAKED ME OUT. Initially, I thought it was Yuki. And something melty had happened to her... a Madame Tousseau version of Yuki... Happy 9 Months to her (and to you)! Great to see you yesterday, in all of your hatted glory.

Yuki is now approaching the age where she is hearing at school that Santa perhaps does not exist and that things are coming from parents. This concern is also spreading to the area of the Tooth Fairy and the Switch Witch. But, Yuki still wants to believe in the magic.  So much so that while she expressed concern, she has yet to come out and ask us.
