When I put Yuki down this evening, expecting her to get mad and cry for 10 minutes, she whimpered, looked up, and waved her hand bye-bye. Just like when I drop her off at daycare. I waved back, and she watched me go towards the door and as I looked back to blow her a kiss, she gave another wave. And that was it. I closed the door, she didn't scream, she just went to sleep with her pal Blah-blah. It took less than a week, and she understood today. When she is put into her crib, she is to go to sleep. We will be in the house still, and will see her in the morning, but now it is time to sleep.
I have a feeling I will not forget this small yet significant event. 15 months old and she already has several things she doesn't need us for. Amazing.
P.S. Had a check up yesterday. 23 pounds and 31 inches, which puts her in the 75th percentile. But her tremendous head is still in 99.9(th?) percentile at 50 cm (about 19-3/4 inches). Yikes.
