* and a few things we don't love so much.
1. TUBBY TIME!®

To be honest, she started enjoying Tubby Time after she was about three months old, but lately baths take forever. She's discovered a couple travel shampoo bottles that she likes to fill up and empty and pour into each other and pour into her bathtub watering can and then pour the contents of the bathtub watering can into each little travel shampoo bottle ... Eventually it comes down to deciding whether we wait to take her out until her fingers and toes are shriveled beyond recognition or when her lips turn blue.
2. Eating Mommy's Lunch
While we do try to serve her what we are eating so she won't have food envy that spirals into a tantrum, sometimes she doesn't just want the same food we have, she wants the exact food we have. And lately she hasn't been feeling well and hasn't had much of an appetite so we will feed her any way we can. Which brings us to:
3. Antibiotics

I don't suppose we "love" antibiotics but we certainly don't love ear infections. Yes, just in time for Christmas, Yuki got a matching set of ear infections. One for each ear! She's had a few already, but this is her first in a while. She's been on antibiotics a few times in her young life so she's either going to be impervious to all ailments as an adult or an incubator for the next Super Bug. We try not to think about it. When it's 5:30 in the morning and she's screaming and doesn't want to be held and doesn't want to be put down and wants Mommy but also wants Daddy but doesn't really want either she just wants to scream ... it's time for the antibiotics.
4. Fight Club

It might not seem so dramatic in the picture, but she gave herself a pretty good shiner when she got into a tussle with one of the kitchen chairs. That chair is a jerk. Anyway, she was having a great time running around after dinner, making noise, doing her "JUMP" dance, chasing bubbles, being a goof, then she decided to take on the seat of a chair with the side of her face. It was good and purple for a while, but it has subsided somewhat. Which is good, because we wouldn't want to cramp her style.
5. Stylin'

This is Yuki getting ready to go to daycare on Tuesday. She's wearing one of the few hats she has that actually fit her (and this one is size 3T, I believe), which Dadoo picked out, but kiddo added the sunglasses herself (which she also wore in this very old episode of "30 seconds with Yuki"). And she wore them until she got to daycare and didn't take them off until she got into the classroom. She apparently made quite the scene. Jay-kun, who is a middle-aged man in a two year old's body, kindly took them from her and put them in her cubby, then she got to the business of pointing and grunting at Kenji-kun. Mimi says this is their regular ritual every morning.

Comments
(I'm shaking my fist at the sky.)
Boo to infections; yay to ways to clear them up.
(PS Does Yuki have the same fit as Nora when being dosed? Maybe the sno-cone smell wasn't quite the flavor I imagined...)
PS I want Mimi's lunch, too. It looks tasty.
